Who is VTD?

I started Vortex TD LLC in 2023 as a retirement occupation while living in Payson AZ. When I went shopping for a camper, the Teardrop shape was appealing, but the prices were outrageous. For people with a knack for building, I saw an opportunity.

Using a CNC that I had purchased to make aircraft propellers, I fashioned a teardrop shape arch, cut into segments which are easily assembled into a full rigid camper frame.

I built the first MINI prototype and took it to the EAA fly-in at Oshkosh WI in 2023. People loved it and I sold several kits. But most people wanted something to standup in, so I created the BIG.

The MINI remains my favorite for its ease of construction and practical use.
